Its “Dual-Posture” seating together with it's impressive cargo carrying capacity, make smartEbike the most "car-like" Ebike on the market.  It's truly “The SUV of Ebikes” because it’s been designed with North American values and perceptions in mind ... comfort and versatility are paramount! 

The recumbent rider above is enjoying the most comfortable Ebike commuting experience possible. When needed, he instantly swings into the upright posture for pedal-assisting the motor or for optimal control at low-speed. The optional fairing provides protection from the elements but minimizes the effect of cross winds. The rear cargo and battery racks can carry trunk-sized loads so smartEbike is more than just a comfy commuter ... it's also a light-duty urban delivery vehicle. Its dual-speed hub motor is optimized for dual-posture riding and since it conforms to Ebike legislation, smartEbike enjoys the legal status of a bicycle.

The website renovations include a demonstration of  smartEbike's unique online selling process: Its advertising and sales model capitalizes on a smartEbike’s striking visibility in the urban landscape … it grabs attention wherever it’s parked.  That “mobile billboard” function will dramatically reduce it's advertising costs.  This website's map-driven online store and its compelling incentives to existing smartEbike owners, will dramatically reduce it's distribution costs. Together, those marketing and sales advantages promote viral selling and enable smartEbike's selling price to be just half of what you'd expect. smartEbike can't be just an E-toy for the rich because low cost of ownership is essential. Only by enabling and encouraging widespread ownership of clean, energy-efficient transportation like this can we hope to maintain a healthy environment.

For policy-makers contemplating environmental problems, one of the most cost-effective solutions at their disposal is to promote widespread use of Ebikes. In China there are now over 100 million Ebikes on the road and 20 million of them were sold just last year.  China's explosive market acceptance has been slow in coming to North America because we are so addicted to large 4-wheeled vehicles.  Our lifestyle and value perceptions demand a suitably comfortable and versatile Ebike so until one becomes available, we'll just grit our teeth and stay in our cars.  But once you’ve ridden a smartEbike around the block, you’ll understand why this Dual-Posture design has what it takes to lure us out of our cars and onto an Ebike.
